Our history in reselling network products dates back 18 years when we first started to develop a deep understanding of network architecture and systems connectivity. As network technology evolved It became obvious that switching and routing products were critical design components of an optimized business infrastructure. We became experts in these components and our networking expertise grew as technology continued to improve and open standards matured.
Unfortunately as networks, systems and the data accessed by those networks and systems matured, so did the malicious threats. The Root Group recognized the significant business disruption possibilities these threats posed and became an early entrant into providing security products, consulting and managed security services. We formally built our Security Practice and in the 1990's and we now offer a wide range of network, server, end point, application, database and compliance security products.
