Deploying an Enterprise Skype for Business Phone System – A Case Study of MSU Denver
Please join us for lunch and an informative discussion on the deployment of MSU Denver’s Skype for Business phone system. Mike Hart, Director of Security, Infrastructure, and Network Services, led the project and was involved in developing requirements, evaluating options, finalizing an architecture, deploying the selected system and managing the ongoing support. He, along with The Root Group and AudioCodes, will provide participants with insight gained from the process, discuss the technology used to implement the project, and share the benefits and challenges faced in deploying an enterprise voice system. The following key topics will be addressed:
- Details of the phone system requirements and the chosen solution
- Key differences between On-premise versus Cloud-based Office 365 voice deployments
- 3rd party tools that are available to help deploy and manage the Enterprise Voice environment
- The business, social and technical challenges in moving from a traditional PBX phone system to a modern Unified Communications platform
